“This year’s theme ‘Becoming and Belonging’ invites photographers to explore the intimate spaces between who we were and who we’re becoming, seeking images that reveal the moments of transformation and the places where we finally feel at home. Submissions should illuminate the universal human experience of finding our tribe, our purpose, or our sense of place in our ever-changing world. Whether documenting places and spaces, personal memories, cultural identity, or the search for community, photographers are challenged to reveal the beauty in both the journey to belong and the courage to become.” Curator and Judge – Pia Johnson

DIGITAL IMAGES

You must include a digital image of each photograph you wish to include in your entry. You can include up to 3 photographs (must be taken in the last 2 years). Images may be multi-panel works but must adhere to the size restriction and be entered in its entirety as one digital image. Digital images must be submitted at 2000px longest side, @72dpi ADOBE RBG colour profile and JPG

Your artist’s statement should be a short paragraph (150 words) that provides further understanding of the photographs submitted. This can include photographic processes used, when and where the images were taken and what was the intention of the image. This statement will be displayed with your work if you are a finalist.
