Connect
Lorne Community Connect is a locally run not for profit arts hub with a vision to create a vibrant arts space for the community to enjoy. The Arts Hub offers something for everyone with art, craft, theatre, music and literary events throughout the year.
Our volunteers share a love for the arts and a desire to support local creatives and provide opportunities for the community to connect, share ideas and enjoy different cultural and artistic experience.
Lorne Community Connect is a proud member of Regional Arts Victoria.
The Arts Hub is open during exhibitions, events and scheduled weekly activities.

In its 4th year, the Lorne Community Connect Easter Photographic Prize & Exhibition is open to all photographers. The 2025 exhibition is now open to entries in response to the theme, Routine and Ritual, chosen by our guest curator Dean De Landre. Entries close on 28 February, 2025

Bhanu Mistry – Artist in Residence Exhibition – ‘Journal’
Bhanu is a multi-disiplinary artist who is currently working on small scale tapestry and embroidery. Her previous practice includes working on the large scale tapestries that are part of the collection at Parliament House in Canberra. You will be able to observe her working in the space to get inspiration for your own work.

Residence
The Artist in Residence (AIR) program commenced in 2020 as part of the Surf Coast Shires COVID recovery initiative.
The residenceny program supports the development of the artists practice and creative engagement between artist, community and place.
Artists who have taken up this opportunity are Meaghan Shelton, Natasha Narain, Anna Reynolds and Belinda Marshall.
